| Notes: | Inspired by a sketch of my great-grandfather's, probably for a lithograph border or picture frame, I have used screen printing and block printing, as well as printing from the computer on to voile. The fabrics were then layered, and embellished with machine embroidery and mola work (cutting through the layers) to show the different interpretations. Produced for the Midland Textile Forum "Inspired by Flora" exhibition in September-October 2011 |
